Good thursday morning

Well - witty titles are not for me...lol

it's Thursday morning *duh*! and I'm at work. Not much to do, at least that I know of. When the accountant gets here there will be much more to do but I don't know when she's coming! As for now, I made a mistake and put our paychecks thru for today instead of tomorrow - whoops! Ah well at least the money is there when they are ready for it (if its direct deposit).

Last night was pretty uneventful - just make a quick dinner and head to church - well I stopped at AC Moores too. I was working on a scrapbox for my receptionist for her grandparents and needed some more embellishments. (You can never have too many!) and I got these really cute ornaments for all my nephews - they were 50% off which made them 50 cents. I still think they were mis-marked because they are definitely worth more than 50 cents. I'd pay up to $3 for them but since they were 50 cents instead I got them.

I taught the kids in back while church was going on. They are going thru a study book "Getting a Grip on the Basics". The kids really seem to know their stuff. They certainly have taken the identity that they ARE Christians. Thats so awesome to see kids have that faith when they are young. I love it. I'm constantly praying that Tyler would own that identity too. There is freedom in it even though the world thinks there isn't - I assure you there is. I've never felt more free in my whole life then I do now that I've owned that identity myself.

So I was really tired last night after church and was in bed by 11. Slept good and was up this morning to hear that we have a major snow storm moving in. First 1-3" of slush, then 5-7" of snow on top of it. We're gonna be busy shoveling tonight and tomorrow! I have to pick up salt too for the driveway. My mom has sort of been bugging out because we don't have any and she's going to die I think if we don't get it soon. So when I go out for lunch today I'll pick some up. I have to get gas anyway cause I'm all out! It amazes me that I can put $15 or $20 in my tank on Tuesday and by Thurs morning it is all gone. UGH... I need to get rid of my SUV! I need a small car or smaller car anyway! but that is another blog for another day...lol
