and sleep in my OWN bed!
Ahhh the ride home was insane. The minute we hit the 90 it was a snail's pace all the way to Rochester. Mom's husband warned me! I couldn't BELIEVE that there was so much traffic. I swear at some points we were actually just going about 10-15 mph! Then we'd get all the way up to 45 - and SLAM! Some dopey rubber necker would be looking at an accident on the OPPOSITE side of the highway and slowin all the rest of us down! UGH. Hello? I want to go home.
So our lovely 2 3/4 hr drive took us 4.5 hrs. Can you believe? But I'm home! YAY. And my cats are happy - but I think my nieghbor forgot to give them water - Smokes won't leave the water dish alone - he's been at it since we got here an hour ago. It's kinda weird.
It's always nice to visit mom and I'm glad we went. Also glad she's coming here next time! Then we'll be almost even in visits - but she'll owe me one more ;)
Ok so that's about it for tonight. I'm beat, whipped and exhausted from that crazy carride home!
