went Shopping!

Sorry no pics for this post... but I went shopping today! Yeah... it's awesome.

Not that I really have any money TO spend on clothes- but I needed some winter clothes. All I have are the tops I bought in the spring for the summer and I was FREEZING at work in them. Sooo I went and got 2 tops, 2 mock turtlenecks and a really REALLY nice winter jacket that is VERY Dressy, classy and I love it. It's a black pea coat which I've always wanted. It was marked down $20 and I had an additional $10 coupon off so I got it for $69 - when it was $99 normally. I just felt really classy in it. So definitely worth it! I think the lady charged me wrong for the turtlenecks though... I have to check my receipt.

Anyway - I am glad I got them. I also went to Lowes, because I had a $10 coupon there as well off of a $25 purchase - and I had a $50 gift card. So I bought a shovel for the winter - we'll need to get another one, but 1 will do for now, and some sturdy plastic shelving for the basement. it cost me an extra $7 - over the gift card. Not bad right? Now my canning jars have a place to be. And I can start to organize the way I want to. Eventually I'd like to make a little 'recreational' area down there for the boys. It stays pretty warm down there - with some throw rugs, and the furniture in the living room - a foozeball or air hockey table - it could be pretty nice! That will come eventually though. For now - it's just gotta be made to work so that I'm not irritated every time I go down there!

Ok that's enough - bedtime for me. Tyler and I are going downtown tomorrow to get a new bus pass. He's frustrating me because he LOST his about a week ago and it still hasn't turned up. Which means it's somewhere between here and the office. Who knows. I kept HOPING it would turn up, but it hasn't sooo downtown we go!
