ok I saw these, loved them, had to try them!

DANG IT! Did you know if you shift and highlight too fast you'll lose your entire post??? UGH didn't KNOW THAT! Now on to my topic for the night! For those of you wondering what my last post was about. I accidently deleted all my blog links. I got a lot of them back, but I'm sure I'm missing a few. Either that or I have extra's I didn't mean to get! LOL But of course, the important ones are there - Tresa and Rachele! LOL

On to the inspiration. Now forgive me that my posts aren't always 'pretty' and even though I'm a pretty crafty girl I have issues with my camera which prevent me from taking absolutely STUNNING pictures of my work (Lots of weird colors and awkward lighting problems) and so I get discouraged quickly and just give up...

However. Not this time! So about a week or two ago I was perusing my daily blog list, feinding for some absolutely BRILLIANT inspiration for this Christmas season when I stumbled across Rachele's wonderful post for her Snow babies. Well, lets say I was breathless. Really! They were so cute! I emailed a couple questions. She was super gracious to answer and Viola! I was on to my own crafty world where ornaments turn into snow darlings on string! Since I STILL haven't figured out how to put HTML links in my posts (we're learning as we go along apparently and all those HTML classes are good for NOTHING as I've forgotten almost EVERYTHING) You'll just have to bear with me and go to the "Ink Boutique" blog site in the list on the right to get the 411 on how to make these babies.

Precious right? I also got the socks to make the hats at Target's $1 bins - and the ribbons are a combo of CTMH stuff, and stuff I had laying around, and a couple other ribbons I got from AC Moore. The Ornaments are clear ornaments from AC Moore also - and bigger than I thought Rachele's were - but I am guessing they really aren't as they are standard size.

So really I like to give credit where credit is due - and I hate to reinvent the wheel - who has TIME for that? If you want to see how they are made - go to the INK Boutique website and click on where Rachele says the tutorial is - they are super easy and didn't take much time really. Oh yeah- and I only have 11 because one decided to ROCKET shot across my living room when I was trying to put it's little hat on. Suffice it to say the poor thing didn't make it to the landing in one piece... Be careful!

Oh these are so cute! I love their faces. The heart noses are a great addition! We had a few casualties of our own, so I know what you mean! I know they'll bring smiles to many faces this holiday and I love looking at the few I kept for my own tree!

Merry Christmas!
