yet another crazy busy week for me....

boy oh boy. I feel like I"m constantly playing catch up here. It's like I don't barely have time to read other's blogs, and so I'm falling behind, and then.... I realize duh I haven't even updated my OWN Blog.

So some cool news. I won Christine's (Busy Bows) blog candy. She's sending me a custom bow which I will probably give to my neice. Cool right? I hope my sister appreciates it as much as I do - because if she doesn't? Then I have two other beautiful little darlings it can go to! LOL
I also got my Pay it Forward from Jen from the CTMH board - nice little package of CTMH Rhinestones. I was happy :)

ok so lets take this as best I can day by day. Work has been hectic, and I have really been convicted this weekend that I need to keep my attitude in check. I need to watch myself and bring my mouth into submission. The last thing I want to be is the cancer that fuels poor employee moral! Soooo I'm working on it. And it'll be a bit of humble pie on monday when I go to my boss to ask forgiveness.

So Thurs night was "usher" training at my church. Seriously I am not an usher. But as I mentioned in a previous post - I was working on the prayer cloths for church and I needed to be there to understand how the flow of the special services this weekend would go and so that I was in the right place doing the right thing - not getting in anyone's way. So I did that. Friday was the first service. I love that when we bring ministers in for special services that other fabulous ministers show up. One thing I've learned from being in my church is that if you want to get close to God - get close to those who are close to God. Follow what they do and learn from them. So when all these ministers are in our church I sit as close as I can, I gleen from their conversations and do my best to be a blessing in serving them. I hold it an honor to do what I can to make their visit as good as possible and to honor them in every way. I know it blesses my pastor, and I know it blesses them. And that makes me happy. The Friday night service was great.

Today went by so fast I can't even believe it. I had all these great intentions but somehow the whole day got away with me. (Which would be why.. at 1am I'm updating my blog). I started out by bringing Ty to saturday school at 9am - then I stopped and got my oil changed, went to Home depot to pick up potting soil and a couple tools I needed. I came home and ate something and before I knew it - I had to go pick him up again! Well ok. Dropped by a yard sale, got a great little deal (Spent about $4) and then went home. Ty got ready - I don't even Remember what I did - then I took him down to the Allentown Art festival to meet his girlfriend. I stopped at Kmart for more tools I needed and then came home> Jay went to Dave's to swim - I stopped and talked to my neighbor and then before I knew it it was time to get ready for church tonight! Had to go get Tyler and Leigha (gf) but she was NOT dressed for church soooo off to the store to buy her a decent pair of shorts and a top. Yeah. Sorry spaghetti strap tanks and short shorts do not cut it for church attire. ok what else? Oh yeah - church. (boy this post is getting long)

Have to admit church was awesome. Really awesome. I loved it. I am so glad I made this a priority. Tomorrow morning is going to be even more incredible. then we ran out to Tracy's house for her bonfire/end of her monthly picnic. karin really complemented me and I have to admit it a.) took me off guard and b.) was really nice to receive. She told me that I was always "So well put together". Of course, I told her she really needs to hang out with me more often, and I really was just coming from church so I of course was dressed up. Anyway it was really nice because something I struggle with is self-image, and it was nice to have someone say I looked nice. Ah... then off to hamburg to drop of Leigha - and to Blackrock to pick up Jay and then home. Ty is watching Last comic standing.

If all goes well I will actually get up on time for church and leave here by 9am and then tomorrow after church I will re-plant my tomato & pepper plants and start my lettuce.

Why am I up at 1am? I think it's because of the iced cap I treated myself to at 9pm. yeah... caffeine and sugar - great combo when you normally go to bed between 10-11pm! LOL

ok that's enough random rambling. Thanks for sticking with it - I'm sure I missed more info like talking about my new co-worker, and the fact that Kari called me today and totally took me by surprise... oh and I need to wish her a happy Birthday because tomorrow/today is her birthday - what else? Please check out Sparkle's blog. Her newest Cupcake card is precious and if you scroll a little bit you'll see her absolutely FABULOUS wedding dress. Brave girl posting it for all the world to see! Oh and the Ink Boutique. Rachele modified a fabulous box to make a holder for cards and I love the papers she used. I smell an order coming on! LOL

Geesh didn't I say I was done rambling? I better get to bed....lol
