Guess I owe a quickie update. Today is wednesday, august 13th, 2008 and I'm wishing it were the weekend already! I know I have a busy one scheduled, with lots of gatherings with friends, and stuff, but I don't want to go to work today!

So, I guess I should mention that I've been locked out of my car since Monday. No, really I have. Don't look like that. Stop laughing. It's really not funny. On the one hand, I haven't NEEDED my car, so it's not a big deal, but on the other hand, it's weird to think that I can't just go get in it right now. And before you ask - no I don't have AAA. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get into my car, and hoping my brother in law will let me use HIS AAA to get it unlocked. Here's hoping anyway... You can stop laughing at me now!

What else? Nothing much. I keep waiting for a day when I get home before daylight ends, and it isn't raining so I can trim the hedges. They look aweful. My yard right now looks like the yard everyone in the neighborhood wants to call the city to complain about. Truly it is that bad. The hedges are HIGH and it's a bit of a nightmare. Also the grass needs to be cut, but the lawn mower needs repairing, (a new blade) so we have to borrow a neighbors mower - but it's rained so much that the ground is soaked and not really drying up.... so the grass is getting pretty high too. It's been about 2 weeks since it was last cut. *sigh* I feel like a negligent home owner.

ok that's enough of that. I have to pay some bills and then get into the office. Have a great Hump Day every one!
