dinner from the boston market. YUM. We watched a movie (Notebook). Marybeth had never seen it and I'm like, you just can't go thru life without watching an epic love story like the notebook. I absolutely love it. She did too, even if it is a bit of a tearjerker. I had to laugh though because she held strong through the whole movie without shedding a single tear, and then apparently cried the whole way home! Poor girl.
Saturday I made an awesome new recipe to try - Carrot Cake Jam. Oh my gosh it is so good. Anyway Mary Beth called and said a few people were going out on the boat. She promised the weather was going to get warmer and clear up, but I didn't beleive her. Turned out I was right this time. It was FREEZING! I made the mistake of wearing shorts and a T-shirt and boy was I cold. Jim was a gentleman and offered me a coat, while Karin, Brad and Marybeth braved the water. Actually the water was really warm - it was in the high 70's and the air was only about 65, so the water felt warmer than you'd think. I did dip my feet in a few times to warm up! I took pictures of everyone on Jim's camera but he's being slow about getting them to me, sooo I'll have to kidnap his camera so I can borrow the memory card for a few minutes - then Karin watch out I have some great pics of you. You really are a beautiful girl!
Anyway - Karin, Brad, Mary Beth, Jim and then Martin and his friend named Jennifer came over to my place -we played dutch blitz, Tyler won Karin's hand when she had to leave, then we ordered pizza, ate Carrot cake jam aaaaalll night, and watched Walk The Line which was REALLY good. Ok so it was my 3rd time seeing the movie. I don't know who I adore more, Johnny Cash, or Joaquin Pheonix! LOL Did you know that he does all his own singing in the movie? HOTTIE!

Sunday, Sunday... la la, la di da da.... Sunday was busy. Church, Drop Leigha off, catch up on homework - and then went over to Tracy's friend Jacki's house for really bad singing, chicken/beef chowder, roasted hotdogs over an open fire and chattering about all sorts of neat things. It was a great time, and so sweet of her to invite us over.
Alright well that catches us up till Sunday, since then it's just been work, and church. Nothing else! Church again tonight and then school tomorrow. Friday I can breathe and saturday? I'm scrapbookin! WOOHOO cannot wait!
