have you met my little niece, Zoey?

So yesterday, I picked up my niece for the day. She's 20 months old and absolutely CUTE as a button. I absolutely LOVE spending time with her. She's so good, and so precious and so adorably cute I love keeping her. Plus she loves coming with her "Auntie Kisha". Whenever I come to the door she immediately goes for her coat, or her shoes or whatever she "needs" to bring with her and starts saying "Bye bye momma" and then takes my hand to walk out the door. My sister says I'm the only one she does that with!

First on our agenda was going to see Santa. That turned into a semi-disaster, though I believe Zoey is quite unaware of it. We got to the Country store, and were one of the first families in line. Santa came out and we went up front to see him and he introduced us to his reindeer "Nervous" and his little elf helper Kelly who looked about 16, but Santa assured us was actually 97, and an elf in training! Then he told us that he himself was over 400yrs old... but would be around for a very long time... Then Santa asked us to line up (which we thought we were already in line) and all these families who were late, and in the back jumped the stantions and ended up in line first. Now Santa is a very patient, caring man, and he loves to spend time with the children he meets - and so we stood in line for about an hour.

Zoey was incredibly patient and tolerant of this. She played with the stantions, watched the decorations on the wall and played peek-aboo with the baby behind us. After about an hour, she walked over to the little bench, picked up her coat and hat, handed them to me and says "Go bye-bye now!" lol It was too precious and sooo funny!

So, we left. I really didn't want her to be crabby - and then we headed over to Marybeth's house for a cookie bake. Charity was already there - and many cookies were in progress. I brought my dough already made up - Pecan Crisps, Snickerdoodles and macaroons. Zoey was a blast. She ate lots of cookies, grapes and little goldfish. She played with the dog, only pitched a minor tantrum once when I wouldn't let her flush the toilet, over and over and over and over... She was so cute, talking to everyone - Hi, How are you? Hi, How are you? It's a Goggy... I stinky.... She has some of the FUNNIEST statements.... Gosh I love this age.... she's tooo cute. I took over 30 pictures but these were a couple of my favorites - Enjoy!
