from cleaning the new bedroom and movin my stuff in there. Shiori is well on her way to the states. She was leaving her home last night, and traveling to Tokyo where she was spending the night (which is day for us). Then I'm geussing around now, she's getting on a plane bound for the states. God bless her and keep her safe. I know she'll make it safely to this side.
I tried to see how long her flight would take, and it appears it can take as long as 36 hrs. I think she's accompanied by AFS Staff/Volunteers... but I'm not sure. Anyway she should land in the states sometime Thurs morning and then she'll take a bus from NYC to Buffalo. We'll pick her up in East Aurora between 4-6pm on Friday. I'm very excited!
In the meantime, we're moving stuff around, cleaning and getting things ready for her to arrive. Right now it's a mess. If she showed up tomorrow it would appear we weren't even expecting her because things are sporadic. Over hte next day they will begin to come together though, that's for sure.
ok - off to finish taking down a desk, and then to bed...
