Been a while

I sometimes think that facebook has taken over my life... I never think about blogging. Of course, i don't really blog on Facebook either... I just status post, and browse other's statuses, and look for recipes... and look at pictures. Not really a whole lotta excitement.

Much has happened since May. The quick synopsis is, The girls went home, Tye graduated from high school, I started a new job, my church closed, my pastors moved to Tulsa...

It's a lot to happen in just a few short months, and yet, it all feels sooo good. Well it feels good until this Sunday, the first Sunday I will be attending a 'new' church as our church home. We'll see what happens then.

I do love my new job. It's so relaxing to go to work. There isn't any stress. The Learning curve has been different for me, going from being almost completely in charge (and yet tediously micromanaged) to being given a job, expected to do it, and left alone. Oh it's sooo nice! The staff is friendly, and works hard. Everyone is committed to the overall success of the company, and it's such a breath of fresh air. :)

Been gardening and spending time with friends, and planning my 2nd trip to haiti - in December with Restore Haiti. I'm very excited about that. Christmas seems so far away, but I know it will go quickly. In the meantime I've been fundraising by selling home made jams, scarves, and sent out support letters to my friends. They have not disappointed! I've raised almost 75% of the amount I need, and sold about $75 worth of Jams :) People really like the unique and different flavors. Thats exciting. Guess I'll be looking for new flavors to explore!

Well for fear this is going to start rambling, I'm going to let it go. And try to promise to visit again before 3 months goes by! :)
