do I really need a title?

I'm just not sure I Do! I mean somethings just aren't that sensational that they need an opening line. This is one of those posts. I'm mostly updating because I feel guilty that I haven't in about 10 days. Not that a whole lot is going on really...

Tyler is getting ready for school. I suppose I should be out there instead of in here on the computer but he hates when I follow him around anyway. He forgot to 'press start' on the dryer last night so none of my clothes are ready to wear today. *sigh* Maybe by the time I get out of the shower? I really only need a sweatshirt. Everything else I'm wearing is clean already.

It's been so cold this month. Well duh we do live in Buffalo! I guess I just got spoiled by the mild temps we were having all winter. We've actually had a bit of snow - not much mind you, just a few inches at a time here and there, and it mostly melts by the time you get home from work, but it's surely not the winter I'm used to! My hands however, are taking a beating with the dryness and no matter what I do to them, they are really fighting me to stay nice! UGH.

Hockey is winding down, thankfully. I'm really ready for the break. And because of Ty's grades this marking period, and first marking period, he's forgoing Spring Hockey this year. The boy is carrying a 70 average. I could scream. And the really sad thing is that it's so not that he's stupid. It's more that he just doesn't seem to care. So when he likes something he'll get 100%, but if it's something he's not interested in, forget it - we're talking 50's, if he even bothers to turn it in. most of the times he doesn't. Ya know and I don't even want 90's out of him. I'd be thrilled with 80's. Low 80's, mid 80's.... whatever. But this whole blase, who cares attitude is killin me.

So we've got 2 games left of the regular season, and then we are doing a tournament - the South Buffalo Classic - the first weekend in march, and then it looks like we'll be done. Good. A total break until October. Yay. I need it! Maybe it'll give me some time to concentrate on my CTMH business more.
