Lunch time before we went to get her ears pierced. We had macaroni and a meatball and yummy garlic bread sticks! Zoey tried to sip out of a straw, but really struggled. Her face was priceless when she finally got a sip of the loganberry - yum!
After piercing and a nap. The poor baby had tried to sleep after lunch, and then I siezed my opportunity to keep her sitting still. Two ladies each armed with a piercing tool and 1 - 2 - 3 - snap! And poor Zoey never saw it coming. She screamed a howling scream. People passing by just nodded and smiled, and knew the poor baby was getting her first milestone. 1 yr old, and first ear piercing. I'm sure... when she gets older it will just be the first of several! Isn't she precious? I popped her bottle in her mouth and she calmed down quickly.
Once Zoey forgave me for the brutal and terror wake up call, she promply passed out and fell asleep, and continued to sleep for the next two hours! Whew... shopping with Auntie Kisha is hard work! LOL don'tcha want to just pinch her sweet chubby cheeks? Even Tyler can't resist her sweet face. She got new, 4mm, 14kt white gold balls as her new earrings. Mom is already talking about changing them out to hoops, but I love the sweet look of the little balls. dont you?
