Focus on the Family, Rebecca St. James

Fascinating interview with Rebecca St. James on Focus on the Family. The initial part is about the Man being the spiritual leader in the relationship, and how you cannot compromise on that point. It's so important! Last night I FINALLY got to go see Courageous with some friends, and it was just as amazing as I thought it would be.

So here I sit, processing this information, reading the book "Captivating", being reminded that any man I date, and potentially marry, simply MUST be equally matched from a spiritual level, and then, watching that movie about men, standing up and BEING the father God has called them to be. Where are the men of Courage? Where are the Spiritual leaders in our homes, our lives, our relationships, and our lives?

Recently, a friend of mine reminded me of exactly what a woman desires, and deserves as a gift of her husband from the Lord. She said, you should always seek out a man who has the four P's in place. Priest, Prophet, Provider, and Protector.

Really learning so much from the two books by John and Stasi Eldredge, and amazed at how the further I go with God, the further behind I feel.. because there is just so much to learn. :)

An overwhelming God

Do you know that we serve an overwhelming God? I mean do you know it? Do you believe it? Do you understand it? Can you see it? Can you feel it? Do you live, eat, breathe and understand that GOD is overwhelming and incredible? I mean, He REALLY is!

I just got finished wiping my tears after reading this article, and praising HIS name for the amazing things that he motivates people to do, and how He urges us forward. God is good. Do you look for Him? Because you WILL see Him if you know what you're looking for!
