Off to mom's for the weekend

but NOT before I get some much needed car repairs. I'm expecting it will cost me in the $600 range... booo... but at least my car will be in good shape for a while. Really girls - keep up on those oil changes, tire rotations and when it gets out of wack - get the alignment! OY! This will be the 3rd set of tires I'm putting on the car in the front. It stinks! The first set was from the previous owner (who I'd LOVE to ask how many times HE changed the tires) - the 2nd set Goodyear installed without telling me I desperately needed a tie rod - and they replaced them under warranty because they had worn straight thru to the tred in 2 months! Now, this pair I've had on there for about 15 months but I noticed the front left was wearing quite bald... sooo on to another pair.

I wonder if it's a cruiser thing - or if it's operator error! LOL

The movie of the day. I watched it last night, and all in all the new superman evokes in me the same pleasure the old one did. Same darling over the top Clark Kent with the impecible (sp?) manners who seems to have stepped out of a 1950's time warp. Same crazy Lois Lane who has no idea who she is, what she wants and can't get her head out of her bottom - same mean ol' bad guy who's too smart for his own, and everyone else's good. All in all a decent movie - but I would have preferred a bit more... I dunno - action? The movie itself moved along at a snails pace. It was good, but predictable. But what else would you expect on a remake of an old classic?

Work is crazy right now. I've got a tough challenge ahead of me with my tech desk. I just found out I lost 2 positions I really needed and now I've got to make it work with only 3 guys instead of 6. (one is on medical leave). I'm just not sure how the heck I'm going to do this! It stinks but I know God will sustain me - at least he BETTER since this whole thing was HIS idea! LOL (how's that for boldly before the throne of God?)

well... thats it for now I guess! I'll try and pop in over the weekend if I can!
