Quick weekend recap

Do you have on of these? If not... run right out to TAR-JAY and get one. They are SOOO Cute! What is it? Good question! It's a totally GREEN (well in this case... red) re-useable bag! Yeap! Canvas! Only it zippers up and you can put it in your glove compartment so you don't forget it! Cool right? Best thing? It was only 99 cents! Yeap! 99 cents! I know! Actually I can't take all the credit for it - I originally saw it on Stacey Julian's Blog here - but forgot about it until I was at Target and saw it as I walked in. Right next to the $ spot. Good place right? LOL I know... Anyway it unzips to a really big size, and fits lots of fun stuff in it. Or... whatever you're buying at Target- I just happened to be getting smores fixins! The cool thing is that you can use them ANYWHERE - not just at Tar-jay.... :)

So what else? We had the yard set up for bonfires but had to put it all in the garage because it's supposed to get cold and rain tomorrow. Ah well... life is life. Oh - we have a ton of wood cut up for burning too. I think we might be set for the summer which would be awesome.

I totally have to take a pic of the really NEAT TIKI torches I bought at Big!Lots. Yeah. So I'm becoming a Biglots junkie. At least a little bit. They have some really fun things for the yard. I coulda spent a ton of $$$ there but was good. The 2 torches set me back about $30 as it is. But they were totally worth it! Copper oil cups in metal garden stakes so they won't just fall over.
I also saw a 91" chocolate brown couch there that was sooo comfy and I think it's the perfect size for my living room. It's also $325... but I heard a rumour that the Stimulus checks are being mailed starting next week! YAY! SOOO depending on how much the windows in the upstairs family room costs... I might actually be able to FINALLY get a couch for the living room. Oh don't pity me - I have a mission style, very uncomfy - funky color green couch.... that is functional - but not at all what I want for the room.


ok - saw my friend Lisa today and her beautiful daughters Sam & Riley. They are such fun friends. I love them sooo much - going to send them a card for the fun of it. Then my friend Jim came over to take me for icecream - which he doesn't even like so I'm not sure why we went - but I was happy with it and enjoy his company a lot so all in all I feel very happy!



Tomorrow is really weird. Jay doesn't have school, Ty doesn't go to school until 11:45 - I have a 10am meeting, an 11:30am meeting, then I will have to get Jay some lunch - and then I have to leave work early at 2:30 because I have a meeting at Jay's school at 3pm which will probably take until 4pm. THEN I have to pick Tyler up at 6pm to take him & Jay for haircuts. They are totally OVER due for them. lol
