Lots to update on...

First and foremost, I've had 304 peeks at my blog! Very cool! Welcome, and Thank you!

Second... this weekend has been BUSY let me tell you! Friday night Tyler and I went to BJ's which he fussed about, but in general I think he was happy as he got to pick out some of the groceries we purchased, and got a new pair of shorts and a new polo.

Saturday was hugely busy as I went to Home Depot and picked out a lawn mower. I have to say that I'd pretty much decided I was going to only buy the $139 model, site unseen. But it was inexpensive and I'd decided it was in my budget, and hey, any lawn mower is better than NO lawn mower right? yeah... not. I have extremely tall grass, and a very uneven ground. Sooo the $139 wasn't going to cut it. Literally. Sooo with my 10% off coupon, I settled on a very nice mower by Cub Cadet, that was about $100 more, but sooo worth it.

I also purchased some hanging baskets for my front porch. Fuschia are my favourite, and I found a really pretty Blue & white one - hard to see in the pic, but really lovely in person.










And I also bought a traditional Pink & Purple Fuschia. They are my favorite but it took me a few tries to figure out that they hate sunlight and partial sun to mostly shade are what they thrive in, Which is great for my front porch.










We spent the entire morning cutting the grass, and working on getting the house presentable for Malik's Party. That will be my next post - since there are a TON of pictures - I'm not sure exactly how I'll break it up - maybe just a few of my favourites since I took almost 60 pictures! YIKES! Well not just me, but also Tyler. He was in charge of pictures for the present opening :) He does a great job - I'd love to get a better camera and see how well he does with those.

What else... Oh Sat afternoon was Malik's party, Leigha spent the afternoon here, and then I went to see Lynda and several other friends last night. Stayed out way too late and ended up with a lack of sleep enduced headache this morning. A guest speaker in church, and then out to lunch with Tyler. We've finished the grass and now we watch Marie Antoinette... Jay should be home soon - and hopefully all will go well. My sister wants to return back to court to increase her visitation. It frustrates me because it is incredibly expensive for me to constantly traipse back and forth to court. I told her today how much it costs me every time she does this. Her response? They why fight? Hello! I wish she had some common sense about her... *sigh* what can I do? send him back? then she finds another boyfriend, forgets about her parental responsibilities... and what? I don't know anymore...

Anyway - I'm enjoying this movie, so i will post some bday party pics and sign off for today!
