Oh Sparkle aren't you a darling!

So today is the first chance I had to take some pictures to share with you all - but on Friday I received an awesome little RAK from Sparkle and I hadn't had a chance to properly thank her but here it goes! SPARKLE YOU ROCK!

So much to catch up on... sooo last night is a bday party for a very close friend of mine and boy was she blessed - but I gotta tell you - it's a great party when 30 or so of your closest friends show up! LOL Now the quick story is that last year at her Bday party -she somehow ended up with this AMAZING pic of us - and quite frankly most of the times I just have NO enjoyment out of pics of ME at all. I know I have some weight to lose and lately it's been showing up in pics more often than I'd like to admit. But this pic is really good - and I love it. So last night I was teasing her that I'm STILL waiting for it now - and she went on and on about how she has to find it and she's not sure where it is...etc...etc... well the jist of it is... today I get a phone call and Tracy says to me... Kisha? How did you get in your house? and I'm like... thru the back door, how do you go in your house??? (it was really funny because Tracy lives a good 40 minutes from me... and is not normally in my neck of the woods) and she says - Go to your front door and I'm like... ok. So on my front door is hanging a little bag which I cannot get off the handle and it turns out that not only did Tracy FIND the negative of the pic, but she had it printed and FRAMED! And it's a great frame which I will share with you all at some point soon - but the point is that Tracy (Superwoman that she is) somehow... between 11:30 last night, and 1pm this afternoon - while she went to church AND to lunch with a friend - GOT this done! I don't know how she did it - but man is it awesome. I LOVE it! THANK YOU TRACY!

ok what else... my wonderful sisters (not) were over today... and with just a little fighting, and less cussing - it went almost well. I did go on Craigslist and get my sister a car seat that her little one would actually fit in - and went and picked it up and paid for it for her so that she would have it.... and I made dinner for which they were an hour late for...

and lets see... what else? I had Zoey for church today and that was fun.... except that she ended up in the nursery because she was a bit disruptive. Interesting note, I had one of my youngest sister's twins with me and the minute we walk in Pastor says to Riley - I was thinking of you and your brother just yesterday (which is a BLESSIng let me tell you they need it) and he actually called Riley up and prayed for him with the congregation which was so interesting. But we'll take it!

humm.... Friday night was BLITZ and we had the teens - that went actually really well and I was pleased. The kids seemed to enjoy it too. (I'm working backwards here I think...) Oh boy is this getting long.... here's some pics to enjoy! LOL

And then, because i didn't do ENOUGH this weekend (ha!) I figured why not throw in a batch of peanut butter cookies - while I'm doing the laundry.... since I never got that done over the weekned.... speaking of which - last load is ready to go in teh dryer and well.... as much as i hate to say it - work calls for tomorrow! I know... I know - how can we eat peter pan after that scare last year? I dunno - it was my favourite brand then, it's STILL my favourite brand now, and I'm so grateful that they are selling again - for the longest time i thought they wouldn't recover. But I gotta tell you we had like 3 jars of it in the pantry at the time and it surely was a testament to God's statement about us eating any 'deadly thing' and not getting sick from it - because we ate those jars before we knew there was an issue, and not ONE family member got sick from it! Glory to HIM all day long!

Lastly... I added a blog counter to the bottom of my page - I figured now that I know where you all are coming from - I might as well find out just how many of you are coming as well!
