My mother is a deadbeat blogger.... seriously. She won't let ME update her blog, but she hasn't bothered to since MAY 29th! May 29th! I know she gets on because she reads MY blog and then calls me about it.

I told her it is blog rudeness to not post...

I'm so going to harrass her about it this weekend when I see her in Ohio... geesh. Which is funny to me that I have to wait to go to Ohio to see her! Did I mention we are leaving in the morning - Tyler & I to go to Ohio? Yeah my aunt Hannah invited us down for the weekend for a family reunion which is so cool. I get to see Katie and her little boy and my aunt and her husband AND my mom and my little bro "Meech" and my mom's Husband Doug... who I guess is my step-dad but that seems weird since I'm almost 34 yrs old, so unfortunately he's "my mom's husband Doug"....

hum what else? We've had some big changes around here - I've sent my nephew Jay home to be with his mom. Yeap. Been prayin about it, went and saw my pastors about it, talked to my mom about it and viola - sent him home. I feel really good about it too. Not that I don't miss him, and it sure is weird around the house without him - but I know I made the right choice for our family. Hopefully he'll take some of the things I've taught him and stick with them to succeed in life. He'll be around I'm sure but I just want to be "auntie" from now on...not surrogate momma!

We've spent the last 3 nights in Fredonia for special church services there. Family Church had guest ministers Ed & Nancy Dufresne out there. They were having services at 10:30am and 7pm, but we only made the 7pm ones. Monday night it was just me, Tues night I took Ty & Jay, and then last night, because Jay went home to Momma, it was Ty & Malik (or Peanut as I call him). They were fabulous services, we got to breifly visit with my pastor's best friend Phillip Slaughter who only gets to come up like every year or so... but he is awesome. Amazing Singer - turns out his traveling plans changed and he's going to be preaching at my church this weekend - FIGURES since we'll be out of town. I was so bummed when I heard that - but I put my order in for the CD. Tyler of course made a bee-line for him because he loves him so much too. Phillip Slaughter is like a member of the 'church' family who belongs there, but is always away doing the Lord's work. Maybe it's because he's Pastor's best friend that it feels like he just belongs in our church - I'm not sure?

Anyway - busy day ahead. Gotta pick up my car (which DID NOT get worked on grr) and Ty needs a hair cut and I have to pick up an order for a friends wedding shower from JC Penney. They've been wanting me to pick it up for a while now and I keep forgetting. Then we have to finish laundry and get packed for tomorrow. I want to be on the road by 10:30 - lets see if I can make it!
