Gosh it is so busy around here. I keep thinking I can post, but then I think I should post pics too and I really haven't taken any, so I know that I need to, but it's been sooo busy!

Ok so my last update was Thursday. Friday I have no recollection whatsoever of what happened, other than I had to work late. I think.... we went to a movie. OH we did! I grabbed my twin nephews (10yrs old) and we went and saw Iron Man. REALLY great movie! LOVED it. Would totally buy it on DVD when it comes out.

Saturday my good friend Lynda came over and I showed her how to Can peaches. We got 20 pints done. I felt accomplished, and it's neat to see them all on my counter. It's been a while since I did that much in one session, so it was good. Later, Tye wanted to go to his GF's block party so I drove him out to her place and then I went to hang out with friends for a little while. First we went to a mission fundraiser for some friends who are going to Mexico in September (Maybe it's October?) and then Jim said he was going to take the boat out for a little while, so I jumped on that chance - heck it was hot and sticky! MaryBeth and I went to the boat for about an hour, then ran back to the party where we prayed for the missionaries and then we went to Jim's for chocolate pie that Marybeth made. YUM. And I don't even like chocolate much! So Saturday was busy.

When I blog, do I really have to do a play by play count of everyday? LOL I did go Sunday to see my friend's Bernie and Rhonda and their beautiful baby Faith. She is so alert and bubbly and I swear she almost smiled at me. Not bad for a 6 week old! I also stopped by the Stamp convention that was at the fair grounds, and I think it was almost over, because they didn't even charge me to get in, and I got to look around and see lots of pretty samples, and techniques that I have NO idea how they make them! But I also bought a new set of stamps by a company I never heard of - Stickyscrap.com - and the set I bought was too cute- Furry Felines (Hope that link works!)

Well lets see - here are some pics to share, since it's been quite a while! Now I know you can't really see Ty's face in this, but doesn't my boy look "Dapper" in his sunday best? yeap. He was ushering that day and was all dressed up NICE in his new purple shirt and Tie. He's so handsome I just can't take him ANYWHERE anymore! LOL

Here is an updated pick of Sparkles. She is quite the pistol and hardly ever sits pretty for me, but I am finding that she enjoys sitting close to me, without actually being on me! We'll see how she does when we are away for 3 days!

Ok here is something. We have a flat screen TV downstairs, but upstairs in the family room we have the OLDEST 19" tv ever, it's even missing buttons and is good for music only... really. You can't hardly see it even from across the room! Well interestingly enough we got a great donation in at work, and two TV's came in with it. Well we have no need for these at the office, so the directive came down to 'make them disapear'! So I sent the big one (35") off with Kev to NYC, and I took the smaller one (27") for home. Here is a pic of the new (used) TV, and the old (used) TV! Tyler should be pleased!

ok remember a couple weeks ago when I went scrapbooking with some friends? Well I completed 3 layouts that night. No Journalling, no anything. They were the last of the KB 07 pics I had. Silly me was JUST getting used to a digital camera, and how easy it is to take way too many pictures. I think I had something like 40 pictures from the Newsboys concert alone. Well they weren't great, but I could cut them into 2" squares and get some decent shots out of them. So I crammed all my pics onto 3 layouts and called it quits! Now I'm onto KB 08 and we haven't even STARTED the pics yet, although I can admit I was more conservative with my picture taking this year :)

ok what is next? look at the cool box I got at Aldi's, actually 2. They were displaying notebooks in them, and I thought Hum.... Kisha, You can do something with those to display paper at that vendor faire you are doing in October. Yeap so I emptied both boxes onto the table, and snagged two of these babies! LOL

ok and remember that pair of chairs I picked up at that garage sale last week? Yeap you guessed it -wouldn't you have stopped too? Look at how lovely they are!

Lastly - my newest project I don't have time for, but must do for my sanity, and self worth. I'm 33 yrs old, run a half million $$$ a year company, and am finally going to college. No, not for my masters. No, not even for my Bachelors. Yeap, you guessed it. My associates degree. At least, for now anyway. Here is the book for my first class. Cost me $62 and I'm hoping to get reimbursed from work for it. Hoping anyway.
