Mid-week and at mom's

I've retreated a bit I think. It's been a tumultuous time around my life, and I think I just needed my mom. You know how that goes don't cha? Anyway, we got news Tuesday morning that my uncle had died. It was a horrific death, and no one knows all the details yet really. My heart goes out to his immediate family - especially his children. And my grandma. I can't imagine how it is to lose one son (my father) only two months ago, but then to have another go in such a violent way - its aweful.

So Tyler and I drove down to mom's last night - we arrived around 5:30 and we'll stay here till Friday or Saturday. Then we'll head down to Jersey for the services, which will be Sunday and Monday, and head home Tuesday. It's going to be a busy weekend!

I have to remember to get another memory card. the one in my camera somehow got messed up and won't work - so in order to take pictures... hello I need a new one. I think mom and I will do that later - i have to take her to the Dr because she's been sick and ignoring it- but finally made an appt for today - then we'll head over to Walmart. I need to get pantyhose anyway.

That's really about it - otherwise things are pretty status quo around the Johnson household...
