Well Shiori arrived yesterday.This is Tye & I waiting for our 'host' information packet and then for them to go get her from downstairs. It was a sweltering 90* outside yesterday, and quite honestly I think it was about 100* in the church we were picking her up from. It was insane. Makeup just slides right off your face! We were so excited though.
This is Shiori at our arrival/pickup location. Poor girl is dead beat but so excited she's jumping up and down. So cute!
Here the kids are walking to our car (behind the big ol red truck). On the way home we stopped at this cute little greenhouse. I got the most amazing hanging basket for $10! I couldn't believe it - picture later. I also picked up some Black Eyed Susans and daisies for my garden. $27 for the whole thing. Wow! 
For dinner we had Pizza and wings. Shiori is completely blown away by how 'big' everything is. Sidewalks, streets, gardens, houses. Even the pizza is big she says. In Japan a "pizza" for everyone to share is about the size of a small, or almost personal pizza here. Of course, this is probably why she's so tiny and America has a major obesity problem! Also Shiori has had pizza almost every day since she got here...probably is beginning to think that's all we eat! LOL
The kids played a game of Life. Apparently Tyler has no problem kicking the pants off someone who just got here! He won! I went out on the boat for a little while to hang w/Brad, Jim, & Johnny. I needed to cool off it was so icky hot around here. When I got back the kids were just watching TV... apparently Shiori LOVES American Football and can only watch it on one channel late at night back home. Wait till football season arrives here...lol it's everywhere!

ok well off to chiropractor and then painting painting painting- gotta get her bookshelf and dresser done today. Then off for a fun day at Beaver Island with the boats and Jetski's :)
