Oh dear friends. It seems that since the invention of facebook I rarely, if ever really share my thoughts and life. Maybe thats ok and maybe... its not. The nice thing about blogging is the ability to go back and look at my life in review. Easily. Facebook is not that easy.
So much has happened since my last blog. Shiori went home in June and is happily re-entering her Japanese life. I have made plans to go to Haiti, and I will be leaving next week on my first ever out of country missions trip. Most importantly, we are hosting not one, but two, beautiful girls this year. What a monkey wrench in my plans to NOT host this year. But they are fabulous and I'm happy to say that they fit quite well into my family.

On the left is Nalom, a very vibrant, perky young girl from Indonesia, and on the right is Polina, a very smart, friendly and talented girl from Russia. The girls are definitely interesting and very different from Shiori's more introverted, mild manners. On Monday, we took a trip to Letchworth and enjoyed a day of spotty sun, and mostly rain... The views were beautiful and we sure did see a lot!
Actually, we've done a lot of 'site-seeing' this year. We've been to the Genesee Country Village, the Herschell Carousel Museum, Niagara Falls, the Miss Buffalo Tour, Letchworth....it's been a bit of a whirlwind! I love doing things with the girls! :)
