Nature's Visitors

So lately, we've had this little fella visiting us, helping himself to the bounty of our garden. No shame, no timidity with this guy - he's just helping himself, and he knows exactly where his supply is. Wow. Wish I had that same approach when I head to my Heavenly Father's throne.. 


Hebrews 4:16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].


I always wonder why humans question God's grace, forgiveness, mercy and provision. Something always brings me back to the same answer... we just don't know him.

This Squirrel doesn't have any trouble knowing how he'll make it through the winter. He knows there is provision out there, and he's finding it, storing it, and enjoying it. Shouldn't we follow in the same way?
