New lunch thingie ma bobber

This is the week most Yankee kids go back to school. Yeap, makes for a nice long, hot summer where most parents are frantic to figure out what to do with their kiddos. Thankfully for me, we are now past that stage, and it's not my problem anymore!

BUT, what is my problem, is how to make a decent lunch that I am willing to take to work with me, and actually eat, instead of opting for take out instead.

And, T has been starting to take his lunch to work too, and our Saudi boy will probably need to pack HIS lunch as well, soooo while perusing the Lunch bag aisle, I found this little do-diddy. A lunch BLOX. By Rubbermaid.

*disclaimer* I am not endorsed, I am not sponsored, and I am not paid to write reviews on anything. But if you know how to let that happen, let me know! Cause I AM NOT one to turn down money just to tell you'all what I think!

So this little do daddy thingie ma bobber is purty cool. It's got a big container that holds the bottom whatever (salad) and then this cute little container thingie on the top for your toppings (like cheese or almonds or cranberries or tomatos or whatever...) and it's pretty roomie so you can get a good size salad going on in there.

There are two features that I absolutely LOVE.

Numero Uno is the little salad dressing container that fits so perfect and cute in the top tray. Seriously its a generous serving of salad dressing, and it's all contained all by it's little self :) I love it!

The other thing I love, is the little blue Ice Pack that the whole container 'clicks' into. Seriously! SERIOUSLY.

Yes please, keep my Insulata nice and cold, and all contained with dressing please.

dont'cha just hate a slimey salad? yeah. Me too.

And well it wasn't super cheap as far as plastic containers go, the whole shebang was $7.99. On sale.

BUT there were coupons inside, and one of the coupons was for $1.50 off your next BLOX purchase. (and not just for salads) - so that sort of made it worth it. Well, I mean if I'd known there was a coupon in there, lol I would have just pulled it out and used it.

Yes I'm that girl..lol

Dear "exhibitionist", just visited your beautiful blog! You have a great sense of humor! How that lunch thingie working for you? I have to read more...Saudie boy? Anyway, work hard and have a wonderful day.

P.S.: is it me, the old lady, or do others have a hard time reading the script in your text, too?

BARB! I'm so honored that you took time to stop by my blog and leave me some love! oh I'm tickled PINK - Thank you!

So yes - we are hosting a 15yr old exchange student from Saudi Arabia! I'm actually working on a page for my blog dedicated to our fabulous exchange students and how they've enhanced our lives. Gotta LOVE the international experiences :)

And... no one has mentioned the font - but if it's aweful and I need to change it, it's a relatively easy fix :) So Everyone speak up! Lemme know if I need to change it up a bit. Is it the color or the font?
