It's not our right, it's our DIGNITY

I understand, this post is a more serious one that I normally don't address. I like to keep my blog light and informal. A place of enjoyment, entertainment, and where we can explore those "nicer" sides of home, life and family.

Not today.

Today, is Election Day.

Today we determine the course our path takes for the next four years. We set our eyes on a Hope, prayer, and our dreams for the future. Both our Future, and the future of our children and grandchildren.

I know who I'm voting for. On a Federal Level, A State Level, and even a local Level. I have my reasons. They make sense to me, and I believe these candidates best line up with my values, my Christian Faith, and my hopes for the future.

I. AM. NOT. HERE. TO. TELL. YOU. WHO. TO. VOTE. FOR.

I am here, simply, to tell you to Vote.

For every, single women who went before us and begged, pleaded, cried, lost their homes, their families, their children, their lives for this right. For every woman who was beaten and tortured and became a public outcast from Society.

It is not just about your voice, your one vote. It is about the collective of votes.

The collective of Voices. The collective of Song that sets the course, the destiny, in motion.
We women have value. We have honor. We have dignity.

We. Have. A. Voice.

Use it - and teach your daughters to use it as well.
