4 Days till Christmas!

3 days till family gets together for food, dinner and YUMS

Well last night, I made myself relax and watch some TV. (Wheel of Fortune which I found myself enjoying immensely! LOL) Then I made cookies for little bro, and cookies for church Sat night, and cookies for the boys at work. Then I finished up the scrapbox I was making for my boss. I felt accomplished. I slept well and I got up relatively on time.

This morning was kinda messy. The lake effect started rolling in around 8am so by the time we left roads were pretty slushy and gross. It was supposed to stop around 9, but here it is almost 12:30 and it's still snowing, though not as hard as it was. Little Bro came back to the house right as we were leaving, his bus didn't show up - and I drove him to school. Normally I wouldn't (tough older sis that I am) but he'd already been standing out in the freezing cold for 20 minutes and I felt bad for the guy. Was also pretty irritated because he wasn't wearing his boots (Sneakers!) and no gloves, and his hat doesn't cover his ears. (what's the point?) Then to get to the thruway I made a right turn instead of going straight, and ended up the next town over before I could turn around to head back into the city. Duh. Take mom to work and then head on to my own job. Good thing they are pretty easy going around here - I was 45 minutes late and no cell phone to call and give them a heads up.

So what's left for christmas? 4 pumpkin pies and 1 apple pie to bake, (I'll do the apple on Saturday). Shopping for 6 more people, plus some miscellaneous things I want to do. Christmas concert for nephew #1 tonight at 7pm. Wrapping presents. Small grocery shopping for any thing we don't have for dinner Saturday. Finish up Christmas cards and mail. (stop at post office and get stamps) Oh! Pick up pictures from Walgreens I ordered yesterday.

(here's a neat side note) Did you know that www.snapfish.com you can upload your pics, and then order them from Walgreens to pick up? I did this for the first time last night and they were ready 2 hrs after I ordered them! Isn't that nuts? I'm going to pick them up today. YAY! :)

I think that's just about it. Other than trying to decide WHAT I'm going to get for everyone, I'm pretty much done. I'm thinking BBW for sisters, and B&N for Mom's bf, and for mom? I don't know. I already got her several things, but I want to really make it special you know? And Tyler - he needs a couple more things (hockey stick and bag).

Anywho - gotta go pick up lunch - bbiab!
