Jeez am I lame or what?

wow... finally on the computer. By myself, without having to exactly rush off. And it's behaving it self. And I can write. Boy it's been ages since I updated. I feel like a million years have passed since I wrote a good blog. So much to tell too. But nothing overly exciting!

Tyler's party was Friday. He is now officially 14. The boy cleaned up as far as gifts go. I've never SEEN a kid get so much for their birthday. When I was growing up, 1 gift was all you got. Period. Tyler must have gotten about 10 from his dad alone. Not including the bike I got him, and the party I threw. And then all his friends got him cool stuff, and cash. He got lots of cash. OF course - there's a story there, but we'll update later with that. Right now - I'm just including the basics because otherwise this would be a million words long and who'd read that???

So anyway - here it is monday - 11pm. We just got home. I know crazy to be out so late on a school/work night. We went to a rollerskate party. It was good times. If you're looking for good listening on the net - check out www.thereachfm.com - That's what I listen to most of the time. Anyway they had this big skate party here and we went. I volunteered to help w/the table getting kids to sign up for the free CD raffle giveaway they had. Shelly is so awesome. Way cool that girl. We had a ton of fun. Anyway cause I helped out (meaning I got to play!) she gave me two CD's - Tina Marie Williams, and also New Songs worship album. I can't wait to listen to them. Actually we listened to them in the car on the way home. Well, not THEM, but Tina Marie's album. I's good. I think I have a couple fav songs though already. Shelly also gave me a one day pass to Kingdom Bound 2006. I think I'm going to donate it to the youthgroup or my pastor. Since we are buying a camper for the week, a 1 day pass isn't all that helpful to us except to get a friend in for one day, which is cool and I think that one of the youth group kids that isn't already planning on going can go instead. Oh, and she gave me a T-shirt too. It's got a splash of Blood on it, and something else - can't remember what the word say - I'll have to look that up - but it has to do w/the blood Jesus shed for us on teh cross.

I feel like a kid in a candy store! :) Of course I'm also semi overtired and can't wait to go to sleep.

I stopped in Curves today. I think i'm going to join. I'm just a little irritated. They charge a $74 one time activation fee. Then it's $29 a month which isn't bad, but that $74 fee is really burning me up a bit. You know? So my first month will cost me over $100 - good thing I get my tax refund back soon! The girl said if I go 3 days a week for a month I'm just about guaranteed to lose 6-8" off my body. Good cause I think I need to lose like 100" off my body and 6-8" the first 4 weeks would make me very happy.

Ok well thats enough updating for today. It was good chatting, but I have to get some sleep before I pass out at the computer before my makeup is washed off my face. THAT would be NO good. NO good at all!
