really don't feel like updating...

but I will. It's almost 10 and I'm really looking forward to going to bed tonight. We had such a long, energized, exciting weekend. *sigh*

The boys made it thru to the finals tonight. They beat the first team, S Buffalo 2 (9-1). Then they beat Fredonia, 6-3. Then they beat Monroe County 7-3. They played hard, they played fast, and they played to win. And win they did. I'm proud of them.

The final game was against S Buffalo 1. By far the better team of the two S buffalo teams. Bigger, stronger players, with better stick handling skills and definitely not afraid to make the hit, to stop a play. We usually win with them by about 1 goal, or we tie, or we lose by 1 goal. It's not easy playing them that's for sure.

Anyway - we lost tonight in the final game. 3-0. It was a shutout. Well not really. No one scored the first two periods. It was a hard hard game, but I think our guys were just TIRED. They played so hard this morning against monroe county, and then to have to come out and give it their all again at another game a couple hours later... it's a lot to ask. And the S Buffalo team hadn't played since yesterday. So they had fresh legs with them. That's ok though. We really pushed hard, got a banner and some nice medals :) That's what counts! And the boys had fun.

Ty is a little tired now. Not talking much and sort of just vegging. That's ok. We're gonna go to bed. Tomorrow a new day, new adventures, and new trials. But thru it all, God is good to us! All the time!
