I love my job!
This is so cool! My boss gave me this card and olive garden gift card for Professional administrative Professional day :) super generous and thoughtful. AND the olive garden is one of my most favorite restaurants:) thanks guys! You rock!

almost midnight
and sort of by accident I have discovered Google Chrome. I inadvertently downloaded Internet explorer 9, and I hate it. But I can't go back. So in complaining about it, my uncle told me to download Google Chrome. I have to admit that while I am not a fan of the layout or the tabs, I am seriously enjoying learning the apps.
Specifically one app. CoHuman. I'm hooked. My staff, however might not be so thrilled with it. Wow I can't tell you how cool it is. I can assign tasks to techs, to trainers, and to myself. I can send comments on the tasks, and they can respond. We can assign due dates, and I can check up on them daily.
Wish I could afford the monthly fee with the different projects, but I can only have 1 project right now. I'll deal with it - but this is fabulous! :)

Media day today
*EDITED* Watch Computers For Children on Channel 2 news tonight at 6pm & 11pm!
What is media day? well it is the idea of my boss to have a grand unveiling of our 'new' location and help desk. soooo apparently the news, and the papers, and the mayor and some legislators and some other high falutin folks are comin on down to our offices for a tour and ribbon cutting ceremony. yay. 3 weeks of work all wrapped up in 1 hr of ceremony. Guess I won't be getting much work done today! LOL
the kitten (sparkles - we finally agreed Tyler won) is becoming much more independent and social. She plays all the time. She is entering that phase where she doesn't want lovin, she wants what she wants on HER terms and what does she usually want? To play! lol She's so cute. She has these little plastic jingle balls that will get stuck somewhere so she will simply pick it up with her teeth, move it a few feet and drop it and start all over again. She also has to stand on top of the water dish in order to drink which is pretty funny. She's getting bigger too - longer anyway. Oh and she loves paper bags. She has destroyed several of my gift bags I have around here with gifts IN them... she doesn't care about the contents...only the bags....lol
Hum.. what else. not too much. We're going down to Presque Isle on Saturday so I've been preparing for that. I'm bringing down a lot of the meat and some folks are just contributing money and other items to help pay for it. I think that makes it a lot easier for everyone, so we all arent' bringing down hot dogs and burgers and then not eating most of it...
ok I have to go blow dry my hair and get down to the office.
